Bangkok Post: Coup Has Minimal Impact on Super-Luxury Segment

Buyers of super-luxury properties seem unfazed by the political turmoil and most recent military coup, as they see Thailand’s economic fundamentals as sound and are more focused on a project’s progress. Sorapoj Techakraisri, CEO of Pace Development Corporation Plc., said the company had not received questions or enquiries relating to the political situation and the coup from foreign customers. He said the company will reevaluate the situation and market sentiment over the rest of the year to see how plans and roadshows abroad would be affected.
